Bangkok has hosted many major international events such as the APEC (Asia-Pacifi c Economic Cooperation) Summit, the World Bank-IMF annual conference, and the Miss Universe Pageant. The city has gained a growing reputation for hosting well-run and successful MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, & Exhibitions) events. The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) ranks Bangkok highly, among the most popular destinations for international meetings. |
